Nur 4 Zentimeter...

... fehlten Randy Lewis zum Erreichen des Dreisprung-Finals in Peking. Schade. Schade. Aber dennoch war das mal eine ganz andere Erfahrung, dass da jemand am Start ist, sogar mit Chancen vorne zu landen, den man kennt. Wenn auch nur flüchtig.
Deswegen "Danke, Randy!"...

I wish I could turn back time...luck was not on my side this time. 17.06m in my second attempt were not sufficient enough to get me into the Olympic final 2008.

Only 4cm were missing. 4cm could have changed my life within a blink of an eye. 4cm could have made my country happier, 4cm could have provided some more days of celebration for my friends and family. I've never thought in life that 4cm could mean so much to me.

Nevertheless, life goes on, further than 4cm.
